Simple Handles
Here’s the truth: most players work on their handle in a way that doesn’t match how the game’s actually played. They rep out stationary drills or memorize combos without understanding how to shift, stop, accelerate, or own space.
That’s where this program comes in.
Over the next 8 weeks, you’re going to train five days a week, Monday through Friday. Weekends? That’s recovery—mobility, isometrics, maybe even a little meditation. Every detail in here has a purpose.
Each day builds on the last. We’ll focus on key movement themes like rhythm, acceleration, cutting, braking, and deceleration. You’ll learn how to stay balanced, stay grounded, and stay dangerous—no matter who’s guarding you.
The workouts are “simple.” Intentional. Repeatable. You’ll build habits that translate directly to the game—no fluff, no guesswork.
This isn’t just about becoming a better dribbler. It’s about becoming a better mover.
And when you move well? You can do anything with the ball in your hands.
Throughout the book, you will encounter a variety of exercises that not only test your limits but also reinforce foundational skills. Embracing these challenges is crucial; initial difficulties are part of the learning curve. Persistence and practice are essential for improvement, so maintain a positive attitude even when faced with tough tasks.
